I don't know anything about a German tradition, but I thought this was funny and wanted to give it a look. Every year, we each get a new ornament to hang on the tree and this is for sure the best one I've picked in a while. The ornament came well packed and arrived in perfect condition. The colors are vibrant and I love the detail. Perfect size and looks great on my newly raised tree. Love it!
