Seduction in Death is the 13th book in J.D. Robb's futuristic In Death series, featuring Lieutenant Eve Dallas, and was published in 2001. The plot follows Dallas as she hunts a killer who seduces women online, using a rare date-rape drug to murder them after creating a romantic, candlelit scene. The killer, known as Dante, is clever, changing his appearance to match each victim's fantasy, and must decide whether to continue his spree or hide after the first unplanned murder.
