Monarch Butterfly - Rose Milkweed (Asclepias incarnata) provides a wonderful habitat for Monarch Butterflies. With declining Monarch populations in the US, these host plants are an important addition to your garden. A herbaceous bush with full clusters of showy rose to purple star-shaped flowers and smooth leaves. Minimum of 400 mg per packet (about 80 seeds).
Productive - Milkweed germinates in 10-15 days when soil temperatures are 75-80°F. Plant 1/4” deep and space 18-24” apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 3-4’ tall with a spread of 30-36”. Flowers will mature in 40-60 days, planted in USDA zones 3-9.
Pollinator Friendly - Besides attracting monarch butterflies, the nectar in Milkweed attracts and sustains many bees and birds.
Easy to Grow - Instructions included on each packet. Plus, we are available to answer all your questions. If these seeds don’t germinate, we will be happy to make it right for you.
Safe and Sustainable - Our operation is fully solar-powered, and Sow Right Seeds has taken the Safe Seed Pledge to sell only fresh, non-GMO, heirloom seeds for you and your family.
